We make at home, the butter and ghee we consume. However, we typically produce more than what we need. We are happy to distribute the excess in nicely packaged containers. Contact us if you’d like to get some of our delicious and aromatic ghee.
Every week we purchase farm-fresh raw milk from a farmer, who supplies both A1 milk and A2 mil. All milk supplied by this farmer is certified organic. We buy only the A2 milk. We believe in this milk type because it has significantly more health benefits. Also, almost all cows native to India produce only A2 milk. In India, there is a long history of consuming ghee made from A2 milk. This ghee is also used for its medicinal value in Ayurveda.
These cows do not produce as much milk as Jersey cows, which are typically seen in European countries. As can be expected, the price of a gallon of A2 milk is 50% more than that of A1 milk.
